Terms of Use

These terms describe the agreement between you and Auvoren Software Inc. when you access or use the Auvoren app, website, and supporting services.

Last updated: October 1, 2026

Please read these terms carefully. Creating an account requires agreement to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. Personalized Coach, AI Mascot, and personalized-notification processing are separate optional choices and are off by default.

1. Agreement and Operator

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Auvoren Software Inc., an Ontario corporation (“Auvoren,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern access to and use of the Auvoren mobile app, website, features, content, and supporting services (the “Service”).

If you do not agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy, do not create an account or use the Service.

2. Eligibility and Age

You must be at least 13 years old to use Auvoren. We do not knowingly permit accounts for children under 13.

If you are below the age of majority where you live, your parent or legal guardian must review these Terms and the Privacy Policy with you and provide any permission required by applicable law. You may not use the Service if you do not have that permission or if applicable law otherwise prohibits your use.

Auvoren lets you record personal goals, reflections, habits, and quit trackers, which may involve sensitive or mature topics that you choose to enter. Optional AI features may respond to that information. Consider what you are comfortable recording and sharing with an enabled AI provider before you use those features.

3. Your Account

You agree to provide accurate information, maintain control of the connected email address, protect your credentials and device, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under the account except to the extent caused by Auvoren’s failure to use reasonable care.

You may not create an account for another person without authorization, sell or transfer an account except through supported subscription processes, or use automated means to create accounts.

4. The Auvoren Service

Auvoren provides tools intended to help eligible users organize goals, tasks, schedules, habits, quit trackers, focus sessions, reflections, progress, reminders, and personal motivation. Features may include optional personalized coaching, subscriptions, data synchronization, and notifications.

Auvoren is a tool, not a promise of a particular result. Outcomes depend on factors outside our control, including your information, decisions, effort, environment, health, and circumstances.

5. Optional AI Features and Wellbeing

Some features can use third-party artificial intelligence to generate coaching, summaries, suggestions, mascot messages, reflection support, or notifications. Required acceptance of these Terms and the Privacy Policy does not enable personalized AI. Coach, mascot, and notification personalization require separate choices and can be withdrawn independently.

Personalized AI is not a confidential relationship with a counsellor, doctor, lawyer, teacher, or other professional. Information included in an enabled AI request may be processed by the provider identified in the Privacy Policy, including in other countries.

  • AI output is generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, repetitive, biased, or inappropriate.
  • You must evaluate suggestions and should not treat AI output as a statement of fact or professional advice.
  • A proposed change to goals, tasks, schedules, tracking, or other content is not applied until you review and confirm it in the app.
  • Do not use Auvoren for emergencies or as a replacement for qualified medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or other professional care.
  • If a decision could materially affect health, safety, rights, or finances, consult a qualified professional.

Auvoren does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent medical or mental-health conditions. If you may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

6. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

Some features require a paid subscription. Eligible new subscribers may be offered a 7-day free trial. Apple determines trial eligibility. The exact localized renewal price, billing period, included features, and trial terms are shown before you confirm a purchase.

Auvoren also offers a Free plan with feature limits. Premium provides higher limits and access to optional AI features. AI access requires the relevant permission and is subject to request allowances and a shared usage budget; a subscription does not provide unlimited AI processing. See Pricing and the in-app offer for current plan details.

If you are below the age of majority, you may purchase a subscription only with authorization from the parent, guardian, family organizer, or payment-account holder whose approval is required.

  • Billing: iOS purchases are processed by Apple and charged to your Apple Account. Auvoren does not receive your full payment-card details.
  • Renewal: a trial converts to the paid subscription at the price and billing period shown before purchase unless cancelled in time. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled under Apple’s displayed terms.
  • Cancellation: manage or cancel in Apple subscription settings. Apple advises cancelling a trial at least 24 hours before it ends. Paid access normally continues until the end of the billing period; trial access may end when cancelled. See Apple’s cancellation guidance and any rules applicable in your region.
  • Account deletion: deleting the app or Auvoren account does not cancel an Apple subscription.
  • Refunds: request an App Store refund through Apple’s refund service. Eligibility follows Apple’s rules and applicable consumer law.
  • Restore: use Restore purchases in Auvoren with the Apple Account used for the purchase. Purchase verification does not merge separate Auvoren accounts or their personal content.
  • Enforcement: subscription access, trials, and AI limits may be enforced using authoritative Apple and RevenueCat records and server time rather than device time.
  • Changes: price or benefit changes will receive notice and platform approval where required and do not limit rights that cannot legally be waived.

7. Your Content

You retain ownership of goals, tasks, notes, reflections, feedback, and other content submitted to Auvoren (“Your Content”). You grant Auvoren a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, process, transmit, and display Your Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service, follow your instructions, and meet legal obligations.

If you enable an individual personalized AI feature, that limited licence includes sending bounded relevant portions of Your Content to the identified provider for that request. You may withdraw permission for new processing in Settings.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit Your Content and that its use through Auvoren will not violate another person’s rights or the law. Keep independent copies of information you cannot afford to lose. We may use product suggestions you intentionally submit to improve Auvoren without payment. This does not transfer ownership of Your Content or expand the processing permissions described in the Privacy Policy. We will not publicly identify you in connection with feedback without permission.

8. Acceptable Use

You may not use Auvoren to:

  • break the law, encourage harm, or violate another person’s rights;
  • upload malicious code or bypass, probe, disrupt, or overload security or infrastructure;
  • access another user’s account or data without authorization;
  • reverse engineer, scrape, copy, or extract the Service except where law expressly permits;
  • use bots or automation that burden the Service, evade limits, or replay request identifiers;
  • create multiple accounts, manipulate device time, transfer entitlements, or otherwise circumvent trials, subscriptions, security controls, anti-fraud measures, or AI quotas;
  • misrepresent AI output as professional advice or use it to make high-impact decisions about another person; or
  • use the Service or its output to develop a competing model or service where prohibited by law.

9. Auvoren Ownership and Licence

Auvoren and its licensors own the Service, including software, interface, visual design, trademarks, and original content, excluding Your Content. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control for personal use.

Third-party and open-source components remain subject to their own licences, including rights those licences grant you. See our acknowledgments. No other rights are granted. “Auvoren” and associated branding may not be used without prior written permission.

10. Third-Party Services

Auvoren relies on providers including Apple, Supabase, OpenAI, Expo, and RevenueCat. Their services and links may be governed by separate terms and privacy notices. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control, but this does not remove responsibilities Auvoren has under applicable law for providers selected to process information on our behalf.

Use of the iOS app must also comply with the Apple Media Services Terms and applicable App Store rules. Where no custom end-user licence is supplied through the App Store, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement governs the app licence. These Terms also govern Auvoren’s supporting services and do not restrict rights granted by the applicable App Store licence.

11. Changes and Availability

We may add, remove, or change features to maintain security, improve the Service, comply with law, or evolve Auvoren. We may impose reasonable limits or discontinue parts of the Service. If a change materially reduces a paid feature during an active subscription, we will provide notice or a remedy required by applicable law.

We may update these Terms. We will post the updated version with a revised date and provide additional notice when a change is material. If renewed acceptance is required, we will ask before the revised Terms apply.

12. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using Auvoren and delete the account using the in-app control. Account deletion and subscription cancellation are separate actions.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you materially violated these Terms, created a security or legal risk, failed to pay for a paid service, or used Auvoren in a way that could harm users or the Service. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue.

Provisions that by their nature should survive—including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limitations, and dispute terms—will survive termination.

13. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise that Auvoren will always be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, suitable for every purpose, or that content—including AI output—will be accurate or produce a particular result.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, guarantees, or rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer-protection law.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Auvoren will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, goodwill, opportunities, or data, arising from use of or inability to use the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Auvoren’s total liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount paid to Auvoren for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or CAD $100. These limits do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited and do not affect non-waivable consumer rights.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to a consumer’s right to bring a claim elsewhere, courts located in Ontario will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms or the Service.

Before formal proceedings, you and Auvoren agree to make a reasonable effort to resolve the dispute by written notice. Email support@auvoren.app with the subject “Legal Notice” and describe the issue and requested resolution.

16. General Terms

If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without written consent; Auvoren may assign them as part of a legitimate corporate reorganization or transfer of the Service, subject to applicable law.

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and purchase terms shown to you form the entire agreement about the Service, except for rights or obligations that cannot legally be excluded.
